Where: Ashhurst Village Valley Centre, 21 Guildford Street, Ashhurst.

Friday at 12:00 PM through Sunday afternoon, concluding after lunch and cleanup.

Overview

Join us for a weekend dedicated to collaboration and craftsmanship across all woodworking disciplines.

Round Up (3rd–5th July 2024) is a premier event for woodworkers of all skill levels. Join us to observe live demonstrations, connect with some of New Zealand’s finest woodworkers and artisans, and bring your own projects to work on in a collaborative environment. Whether you are seeking expert advice or fresh inspiration, you will find a supportive community dedicated to the craft. Beginners are especially welcome and will find an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere perfect for developing new skills.

Machines can be hired for the event, but get your booking in fast.

 Bring your own equipment or hire from the guild.

• Full weekend registration $180
  • Ages 14- 19: full weekend registration $60
• Saturday only registration $105
  • Ages 14- 19: - Saturday only registration $40
• Sunday only reday registration $75
  • Ages 14-19: Sunday only registration $25

Registrations must be received by June 29th to ensure lunch availability.

• Full weekend registration includes lunch, morning tea, and afternoon tea on both Saturday and Sunday.
• Saturday day registrations include lunch, morning tea, and afternoon tea.
• Sunday day registrations include lunch and morning tea.
• Lathes, scroll saws, and pyrography machines are available for hire upon request. Please refer to the registration form for details.

Happening at the event are:

• A dedicated workspace where you can set up your projects and receive collaborative advice to refine and improve your craft.
• Throughout Saturday and Sunday, enjoy live woodworking demonstrations and participate in our raffles
• browse a wide selection of wood and sandpaper from Ron Wallace-Wells of Treeworx.
• An optional Saturday evening dinner is available for $52.
